We stayed at the gorgeous little Harrietville Cottage - it was such a cosy little cottage with everything we needed. Close to Mt Hotham and walking distance to the pub! Alpine Valley Getaways contacted frequently to inform us that our booking was on track and they were expecting us. Late checkout on the Sunday was awesome. Such a great weekend - thank you.

Clean property and great location.

- Thinh - 11/08/2019
Harrietville Cottage was clean and tidy, but the heating was absolutely inadequate for an Autumn stay. The house was freezing. The gas heater wouldn't work at all and the split system was set at 23degC and wasn't a suitable heater for the house. We had to turn it off, as it was blowing cool air, and wrap ourselves in blankets to watch tv. I suggest to bring your own heater or extra blankets!

- Julie - 20/05/2019
Harrietville Cottage was incredibly beautiful and set in stunning surroundings. Was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

- Kristine - 27/03/2019
A beautiful little cottage, and easy to find. Fully furnished & self contained, everything except food was provided. The background is great for kids to play in or just relax with a glass of wine or take a walk out the back gate.I really enjoyed being back in Bright/Harrietville and showing my family the sights I used to visit as a child. Thanks Emma & Team for a wonderful little cottage, we had a great weekend.

- Evette - 14/03/2019

- Margaret - 09/11/2018
Lovely location. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Good heating. Electric blankets a bonus. Plenty of extra blankets. Lovely garden and front and rear porch. Will be back again.

- Chris - 26/09/2018
Excellent little cottage for a weekend stay. Easy walking distance to the river and shops, pubs etc.

- Dianne - 13/09/2018
Our family of four loved the cottage in Harrietville. A great base for skiing each day at Hotham. We will definitely book here again.

- John - 26/07/2018
Overall a very good, cozy and nice house. Just a suggestion: There's a fire place in the backyard which we weren't allowed to light a fire in it. The provided bbq is electric, small and inefficient. It'd be nice to let ppl to do a small fire.

- Yaser - 18/06/2018
Would recommend a stay at Harrietville Cottage - clean and comfortable

- Don - 03/06/2018

- Rachael - 11/08/2016
We had a lovely time, very nice to have Harrietville to ourselves before the ski season gets busy. Lovely property, clean and easy booking service. One issue. Very disappointed that there was no mention that the general store is closed, and has been closed for 18 months! A nearly 50km round trip to Bright just to get milk and fuel is not acceptable. No mention on the booking, and pamphlets are out of date. No where to buy supplies. You need to mention that guests need to fuel up and collect supplies before arriving in Harrietville. I would have expected this to have been mentioned somewhere on the booking. With the possibility of snow at this time, driving back to Bright in the dark is not appropriate. Not impressed. The store has been closed for 18 months and after talking to locals appears as though it will be closed for some time to come. Please update the booking, or provide advice on this before guests arrive in Harrietville.

- Katharine - 09/05/2016

Harrietville cottage was perfect accommodation for myself, husband and two children.
It is delightfully decorated and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing break over the long weekend. The highlight for me was sitting on the back porch under the beautiful big tree and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of Harrietville. I would highly recommend Harrietville Cottage.

- Deb - 09/03/2015
This little cottage was very clean, well appointed, private and convenient to town amenities.

- Leah - 07/02/2015
Harrietville Cottage is a delightful base for a holiday in the Bright region. The cottage is cosy, cheerful and inviting & located in a beautiful garden setting. It is well appointed for a self-catered holiday, however there is also excellent local dining at the Snowline Hotel. We highly recommend Harrietville Cottage as a peaceful & comfortable holiday destination.

We had a wonderful stay at Harrietville Cottage. It was clean and just perfect for our getaway. Our kids loved it as well and did not want to leave. We'd love to come back again one day.

- David - 29/12/2013
A well maintained and comfortable cottage with all the necessary amenities you could ask for. Courtyard and backyard were ideal for outdoor activities. Lastly, the cottage has scenic surroundings with hotels/motels, general store, blueberry farm and park a small walk or drive away. I would surely come back.

- Shubhankar - 26/12/2013
pleasant surroundings, private and mostly tranquil.
